This election is still lingering on. Trump got on national television last night and basically said that the election was rigged by the media and early polling and that the Democrats had orchestrated a large scale mail-in vote scheme.
I guess that only applies to the states that he lost or is about to lose; not to all the others that he won. So disturbing and interesting. He could be a case study on the dangers of ego; I don’t care what side of the aisle you are either.
This is the first post I am writing on my iPad. Since I do the lettering for the featured image (I know it is impressive and creative), I figured I should attempt to write the post on here too. This way I don’t have to send the image to myself, etc. Trying to optimize the workflow to reduce the chance of ‘The Resistance’ from winning.
What a great segue… I recorded some content last night regarding Steven Pressfield’s book, The War of Art, where he famously coined the term ‘The Resistance’, as that internal force that keeps us from doing our creative work. Such a great book… Read it or not.
I hope to be able to edit those this weekend and through them up on the Tube.
Funny thing last night… I have been recording my videos on a GH5 and G7 because I recently picked them up as I am trying to venture more into film making/ YouTube content and away from photos (bye bye Nikon)… however, last night I setup the Z6 with the Shogun and WHAT A DIFFERENCE in the video quality. The Z6 is so great in low light and I also have better glass for the Nikon; it helps when you can get your aperture down to 1.8… not that you care about these details BUT maybe you do. Ill be keeping the Z6 but getting rid of the D750, D500 and Z50.
I am reducing down my kit such that I have less options.
Too many options will make a tyrant of us all.

In other exciting news, Beckett and I will be busting out the Smittybilt tent this weekend. My plan is to do a short video on how excited he gets and how nice it is to spend quality time with him and how the tent made that possible. The thinking is… What They Don’t Tell You about a Roof Top Tent… and have it be all about spending time with Beckett and nothing about the tent specifics. That is the GOAL. However, there is tremendous creative gap between what I see in my head as a vision for a video and what I can actually execute (right now).
I am working on closing that gap. It is hard work but I can do hard work.
What gaps are you working on closing…?
